Researching the Impact of Workplace Exposures on Maternal and Child Health

Dr. Rocheleau is an epidemiologist at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) in Cincinnati, OH. Her research examines occupational exposures associated with adverse maternal and child health (including obstetric complications, birth defects, and infant mortality) as well as neurodevelopmental effects in children.  Dr. Rocheleau is a recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME) to CDC on the topic of occupational hazards to workers who are pregnant and breastfeeding, and has provided hundreds of consultations to state public health agencies, employers, obstetricians, and workers.
