Let’s all go to the movies! The University of Kentucky is home to the state-of-the-art Worsham Cinema - a 564-seat movie theater, complete with a 404-inch screen, 4K resolution projection system, Dolby Atmos surround sound, stadium seating, theatrical lighting, and more!
Since its reopening in 2018, the Gatton Student Center Worsham Cinema hosts several screenings annually: ranging from movie nights, independent films, film festivals, watch parties, and more! All of which are free of charge to students, staff, and faculty.

Movie Nights and Other Programming
The Office of Student Organizations and Activities (SOA) plans and hosts programming in Worsham Cinema including the SOA cinema series, watch parties, and other events. SOA’s goal is to engage students through the premier theater experience on-campus, while providing a lineup of captivating and entertaining films for all! Many of SOA’s programs are done in collaboration with various university departments and organizations, including the International Village, WRFL, MLK Center, UKY Film Festival, and more!
