The Housing and Dining Appeals Committee has the role of reviewing requests from students with extenuating circumstances who feel that they should be released from their contract. The committee is made up of representatives from UK Housing, UK Dining, and the University of Kentucky.

The committee meets once a month to review completed appeals. The type of documentation and supplemental information will vary based on the type of request being made. It is the students responsibility to provide supporting documentation and the committee will not gather documentation on the students behalf.
