Educational & Professional Background: Britt holds a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from West Virginia University, a Master of Arts in Communication Studies from Marshall University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from West Virginia Wesleyan College. Prior to arriving at the University of Kentucky, Britt served as Assistant Director for Academic Initiatives in the Housing and Residence Life office at Marshall University. Britt has worked in living-learning programs, academic advising, student organization advising, and student learning initiatives across various contexts.
Advising Philosophy: As an academic advisor, Britt enjoys supporting Lewis Honors College students as they develop their internal decision-making processes. He seeks to serve as a reflective partner in conversations with students about academic and professional aspirations.
