The Lewis Honors College Faculty includes faculty with academic homes all across campus, representing 13 colleges. Honors faculty are teaching both Honors courses and departmental Honors sections of existing UK courses. Honors faculty are also supervising research and participating in various student extra-curricular events. In addition, there are twelve faculty with their academic home in the Lewis Honors College. There are ten lecturers that are responsible for teaching the HON 101 Knowledge and Society, a foundational Honors course required for all Honors students. These lecturers also teach Honors courses, both varying topic seminars and courses that also fulfill UK core requirements. The remaining two lecturer positions are both endowed, the T. G. Lewis Faculty Scholar in Organizational Behavior and the Ruth Jones Lewis Faculty Scholar in Entrepreneurship & Free Enterprise, bot teaching courses in these cross-disciplinary areas.
