Dr. W. Garrett Owen has joined the Department of Horticulture as an assistant professor and extension specialist of floriculture, greenhouse and controlled environments. His appointment includes extension, research, teaching, and service responsibilities. His extension and research efforts will focus on ornamental, specialty and food crop production systems, culture, and practices. He will teach an undergraduate course focused on greenhouse and controlled environment structures, management, and production.
