Assistant Professor Kendall Corbin has been selected to attend the National Science Foundation (NSF) Ideas Lab on the Dark Dimensions of the RNA Regulome (D2R2).

Ideas Labs are intensive, facilitated workshops to find innovative solutions to grand challenge problems. Selected participants work together to generate ideas that will then be used to develop innovative, high risk research projects. This Ideas Lab will focus on understanding the evolution and function of RNA transcripts that do not encode proteins and then applying these discoveries to innovative technologies that can be used to address societal issues. The Ideas Lab workshop will run for five days in June and will be held in Northern Virginia.
