Corbin Wins Excellent Undergraduate Research Mentor of the Year Award

The Department of Horticulture's Dr. Kendall Corbin (right) has been named one of four UK 2022 Excellent Undergraduate Research Mentor of the Year Award winners. The award recognizes UK faculty members who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to mentoring undergraduate researchers, provided exceptional undergraduate research experiences, as well as supporting and promoting the undergraduate research initiatives on campus. Dr. Corbin has served as a research mentor to several Agricultural and Medical Biotechnology students. Graduating senior Courtney Shields (left) nominated Dr. Corbin and announced her as the recipient on April 26th at the UK Showcase of Undergraduate Scholars. Congratulations, Dr. Corbin!
