Options for receiving health care We know access to a health care provider is important to you and your family. That’s why we have several options.
Priority primary care scheduling offer coming for employees and their covered family members
UK employees will be able to schedule a primary care appointment at the new UK HealthCare-Hamburg clinic very soon. The clinic is set to open in mid-May.
UK HealthCare-Hamburg
UK HealthCare Family & Community Medicine is located off Sir Barton Way at 2700 Old Rosebud Road. This clinic will offer adult and pediatric primary care.
Employees will be given the first opportunity to schedule prior to introducing the location to the general public.

Opening in fall 2024, our first Frankfort primary care clinic will also bring cardiology services to our employees living in Kentucky's capital.
Madison Clinic

Richmond, KY 40475
Our Madison County clinic is set to open in fall/winter 2024. In addition to primary care, this Richmond-based clinic will house imaging services, lab services, physical therapy and a pharmacy in a footprint covering more than 13,000 square feet.

Primary Care
UK HealthCare has several options for establishing a primary care physician for you and your family.
All services are offered at the Kentucky Clinic and are available to new or established patients.
Primary Care is also offered at other locations outside of Lexington in Georgetown, Hazard and Hindman.
Team Blue Clinic
Team Blue is dedicated solely to UK employees and their family members who are on a UK health insurance plan.
The clinic, located at Kentucky Clinic South off Harrodsburg Road, offers routine primary care as well as same-day appointments when you’re sick.
The clinic has physicians and advanced practice registered nurses who can also coordinate treatment across specialties and subspecialties.
Urgent Care
If you have an urgent medical concern and need to be seen by someone before your primary care provider is available, UK HealthCare offers an emergency clinic at University Health Service Building for employees and their family members on a UK health insurance plan.
While this clinic isn’t a replacement for your primary care provider, you can make a same-day appointment from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday by calling (859) 323-7425.
