Senior Caregiving Conference

November is National Alzheimer’s Awareness Month as well as National Caregivers Month. It’s time to celebrate and acknowledge the role of the family caregiver and to raise awareness of one of the nation’s most feared diseases – Alzheimer’s. This year our Senior Caregiving Conference has two parts : 1) a half-day morning workshop and 2) a half-day senior resource exhibitor fair.  Our workshop presenter is Kay M. Adams, founder of Compassion Works LLC.  Kay has worked extensively in the fields of geriatrics, hospice, palliative care, mental health, and dementia care. She will be with us to share her knowledge and expertise, giving caregivers the support, tools and strategies, they need for their everyday caregiving responsibilities.
