Join us in our aim to reduce opioid overdose deaths by 40 percent.

Already on the frontlines in researching and combating opioid abuse, the HEALing Communities Study places UK squarely among the country’s leaders in finding long-term, sustainable solutions to this epidemic. The study will leverage existing resources and initiatives, in partnership with communities, to implement strategies and set evidence-based standards that will become a national model for fighting the opioid epidemic.

As part of this effort, we expect to fill dozens of positions in 16 counties. These jobs include community coordinators, prevention specialists and peer prevention specialists.

Nurse Supervisor - Fayette

The successful candidate will provide ongoing support and expertise to nurses who are assigned to the HEALing Communities Study – KY team. The candidate will have demonstrated ability to supervise and manage a team of navigation staff in the community and home; is self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision; must have excellent collaboration skills in working with UK HEALing Communities Study leadership and team. Ability to travel as needed to all study sites and partner organizations as needed. Knowledge and basic understanding of the interpersonal dynamics operative within the working relationships of an interdisciplinary healthcare and research team. BSN, RN plus 2+ years transition/nursing and addiction medicine experience preferred.

Nurse - Floyd
