Junior Acheivement BizTown
JA BizTown Camp is an indoor, academic camp that combines classroom-style teaching with hands-on activities. Kids will discover the real-life opportunities available in the free enterprise system as they become business operators, taxpayers, and customers for the day. JA BizTown Camp gives kids the opportunity to experience what it's like to work in a job and help run a business. Kids learn important economic-based concepts such as entrepreneurship, job readiness, business expenses, customer service, team work, and personal banking.

See Blue See STEM Summer Experiences
A collaboration with the UK College of Education and UK College of Engineering, The See Blue STEM Camp’s Goal is to expose elementary and middle school students to a variety positive learning experiences and career options in the STEM fields. The week-long day camp is designed to help students explore and integrate the STEM disciplines through authentic hands-on projects and real world applications.

UK Communication Sciences and Disorders Clinic - Talk About Fun! Camp
The University of Kentucky Communication Sciences and Disorders Clinic is excited to offer Speech and Language Summer Clinics for children ages 3-8. These three-week clinics are supervised by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and conducted by a team of graduate students enrolled in the UK Communication Sciences and Disorders Master's Program. These clinics are designed for children with mild to moderate articulation, phonological, and language delays or deficits and will provide enrichment and maintenance of speech and language skills. Each week will incorporate a theme to target various skills, including building vocabulary, grammatical concepts, literacy skills, and phonological processes. Additionally, each session will provide children with both group and individual activities. This is a great way for your child to stay on track with their speech and language skills, interact with other children, and continue to work toward their goals!

UK Philosophy Summer Camp
The Philosophy Graduate Student Association is excited to host this free, week-long day camp for approximately 30 high school students. As graduate students and college teachers in philosophy, our camp coordinators and counselors will lead students in reflectively responding to short readings, movies, and speakers through personal journaling, small group discussions, and large group debate. Through these activities, we will help students to thoughtfully develop their ideas, their stories, and their actions. Students will refine their ideas by learning helpful philosophical terms and logical skills which will help them to clearly articulate and to critically examine the beliefs and values which they already hold.

The University of Kentucky Debate Team looks forward to sharing our speech and debate expertise with students looking to learn the art of public speaking. Our program is perfect for students looking to learn and practice the critical skills of logical thinking, confidence when speaking in front of others, and the ability to think quickly on your feet in a supportive, noncompetitive environment.

The WRD Video/Making and Video/Games Camps are a place for kids to learn about and explore their creativity with digital technology. During these camps, kids will expand abilities and deepen their understanding about how digital video and videogames technology functions in the world around them. In the Video/Making camp, kids will explore making their own videos to tell stories and express ideas. In the Video/Games camp, kids expand abilities and deepen their understanding about how video game technology functions in the world around them. Lexington Tennis Club Summer Sports Camps
Lexington Tennis Club offers full and half-day camps through the summer providing tennis and swimming daily. Each afternoon we will introduce a new sport to work on! We also offer early drop-off and late pick-up for a nominal fee. We utilize tennis to empower youth with the skills, values, and experiences they need to become responsible and successful in their day to day life.

UK Elite Swim Camp and UK Swim Camp
At the UK Elite Swim Camp, swimmers will receive assessment of strokes, power, strength, and flexibility. Daily professional instruction by the UK varsity swim staff is included as well as two daily water sessions, dryland training, and educational lectures. At the UK Swim Camp, join our coaches and student athletes for a week of instruction, training, and fun! Each day will consist of water instruction and training, fun and games in and out of the pool.

Campers will stay in cabins for four nights and will have the opportunity for fishing, canoeing, paddle boating, archery, riflery, hiking, volleyball, ga-ga ball, basketball, low ropes and high ropes challenge course and swimming. outh will make new friends and a lifetime of memories at 4-H Camp!

We have worked diligently for more than 37 years acquiring, building, training, and overall developing the best camp team, as well as a significant amount of experience in the Kentucky outdoors. Life Adventure Center  REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!
Give your child the summer of a lifetime! Our action packed days  begin with team-building games followed by equestrian activities. Afternoons alternate between challenge course (climbing walls, zip lines, etc.), archery, swimming, canoeing, and other outdoor adventures. We encourage some "down time" each day through art, meditative labyrinth, and other mindfulness activities. Guided by highly trained, certified staff, our camp offers SO much more than just fun recreation (but we DO have a ton of fun!).
