Dreamweaver: Designing with CSS

This class will help you understand the basic theory of CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), basic CSS formatting, how CSS is used on a web page and how to integrate CSS into a web page to create a fully functional web page layout.

During this course we will cover the following topics:

• Understanding CSS: An overview & introduction
• Using basic Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) in a webpage
• Conceptualizing a Web page layout
• Understanding CSS box model math
• Creating a set of basic CSS rules for a new HTML page
• Building a Web page layout
• Creating additional CSS elements, such as a CSS based navigation menu
• Using CSS properties and images elements to finalize a Web page layout
