EVOLVE 2 PERFORM was founded by coach Justin Taylor who has been developing and evolving athletes with basketball performance training since 2006. Coach Taylor played collegiately at the Division 1 level and upon graduating, he played professionally in various countries for several years. He attained hands-on experience in what it takes to excel in the sport of basketball both on and off the court. Blessed in opportunities to play against and with some of the industry’s top talent, he has a vast knowledge that encompasses many different views of the way the game is played. In addition to his personal experience, he also coached at the collegiate NCAA level. With his love for the game and passionate drive to develop athletes, coach Taylor created his basketball training programs as a way to give back to basketball and the community. He now serves the basketball and athletic community under the Evolve 2 Perform platform, a performance training program specializing in basketball development, VertiMax, and strength and conditioning. At Evolve 2 Perform, we challenge the full potential of each athlete by pushing them beyond their normal physical and mental expectations. Evolve 2 Perform is no only focused on the physical evolution of each athlete, but also on instilling qualities of toughness, responsibility and dedication to one’s goals in the face of adversity.

The mission of First 5 Lex is to create a collaborative community to support the whole child and family, from quality prenatal care through early childhood, resulting in a foundation for lifelong learning. Parent and caregiver interactions with children from birth to five years are the key to future success. What we need to do to prepare our children for school is simple and fun: READ, TALK and PLAY! First 5 Lex - Read, Talk and Play from Cradle to Kindergarten was developed by Fayette County Public Schools in partnership with early childhood professionals from across our community, in response to concerns about school readiness. The program is designed to give families and caregivers access to information about early learning and connect them to fun, stimulating, age-appropriate activities and experiences that will support their young children's development and learning.

The University of Kentucky Family Center is a community mental health facility serviced by therapy interns who are in their Family Sciences master's program at UK. Our interns are supervised weekly by their clinical supervisors who are licensed Marriage and Family therapists within UK's Family Sciences faculty. The Family Center has contributed its efforts to the community for more than 25 years. As a non-profit, the Family Center's first priority is to provide a place of genuine personal growth for therapy interns and their clients.

The Family Center always has open doors and provides services regardless of economic or social status, and will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, marital status, beliefs, age, national origin, sexual orientation, or physical or mental disability. We are an extension of the University of Kentucky and we have been working with members of the Lexington community from all backgrounds for more than 30 years. Give us a call and start working towards the future today with one of our skilled therapy interns.
