Who are Integrated Success Coach Advocates (ISCA)?

Integrated Success Coach Advocates are staff and faculty from across campus who are committed to creating a campus-wide coaching culture. We believe we all have differing roles & responsibilities to support Integrated Success coaching, and that all are vital in providing holistic support to students.

Our goal for ISCA is to incorporate the coaching model’s skillset and mindset into all student interactions. Not only does this support the work that Integrated Success Coaches are doing around the model but integrating this into one’s practice so that students receive holistic support no matter which staff person they see. ISCA's know when, where, and how to refer students to resources, including Integrated Success Coaching.

How Do I Become an ISCA?

ISCAs are committed to building and sustaining a culture of care, support, and student-driven guidance in alignment with our UK Integrated Success Coaching model. Everyone can—and is encouraged to—train and become an ISCA. ISCA’s must participate in a one-time, 3-hour training on basic coaching and referral skills.  Contact ISCoach@uky.edu for more information and sign up for spring 2022 sessions below!
