Describe what you and/or your team does at UK.

The Gatton Undergraduate Resource Center (URC) provides guidance to Gatton Business and Economics students in the areas of advising, career services, education abroad and student enrichment. We collaborate with students, encouraging active participation and positive learning experiences. I work at the URC front desk greeting students and assessing their advising needs to provide the appropriate information or referrals. In my role, I also manage the URC Newsletter and various targeted email announcements sent to our students.

Talk about the ways you’ve collaborated with ITS and how it impacted your work.

The URC recently started sending our weekly newsletter and announcement emails through the Salesforce Marketing Cloud. I was new to the system and the UK Salesforce Marketing Cloud team provided comprehensive training and support during the transition. The entire team was extremely knowledgeable and provided excellent group and one-on-one training sessions. Throughout the process they were always accessible for the many questions I had. They provided valuable feedback that assisted me with the intricacies of the format. I cannot emphasize enough what a pleasure it was working with the entire team, and I look forward to continuing to work with them to provide Gatton students with the digital information they need to be successful.
