What services do you and your teammates provide to campus?

Beginning in September 2017, our CI-Co-Lab will be available to UK faculty and students in Lucille Caudill Little Library room 301N. It will be available by appointment and be equipped with Salesforce Social Studio/Radian 6 social media listening technologyPupil eyetracking technologyHTC Vive Virtual Reality technology and, Suitable Technologies BEAM mobile virtual presence technology.  The lab can be scheduled by contacting Nathan Stevens (Nathan.Stevens@uky.edu) or Jesse Stallsworth (jesse.stallsworth@uky.edu).

Tell us about your collaboration with ITS and the ITS services that the College utilizes:

Over the past several years we've worked in our College to develop a Usability Lab. Initially, we called it the "CI Collective" and described it as a "an adaptive and flexible center supporting interdisciplinary research on human-computer interaction and related areas in understanding how people use communication technology and learn from information systems." It was covered in a UKNOW story and featured in a Widlcat Insights program.

We are currently partnering with ITS to retrofit the CI Co-Lab with ergonomic furniture, an interactive display and a video wall to support a Social Media Listening Lab as part of the CI Co-Lab.  Our College technology teams rely on ITS for software (through the https://download.uky.edu/) and enjoy working with ITS on special projects as time allows.
