King Center Services

The Martin Luther King Center is proud to offer a variety of resources and services to all our patrons and is inclusive of,  but not limited to:

    • Availability of resources/services
      • Center is open 8am to 6pm Mon-Thurs
      • Fridays 8am-5pm
    • Open for individual or student organization appointments
      • Advising, support services, URM (underrepresented minority), immigration related things, etc., we help with all kinds of things and refer students to all sorts of resources.
      • Bilingual services for students, parents, faculty and staff (Spanish/English)
      • Connection to Culturally-based student serving organizations.

  • King Center Physical Space & Beyond--
    • Study Room
      • (First come first serve or on a reservation basis.)
    • Business Office--
      • Printing services (Scan, copy, sprint) for regulars
      • Lockers

      • Quiet Lounge area
      • Library (under construction)
    • Culturally-based programming--
      • Social justice book clubs, renowned speakers and celebrities, concerts, cooking demonstrations, lecture series, Conference visits and conference hosting, and more!
      • Identity-based programming: My Brothers’ Keeper & Sister Circle; Tarea (Homework) Tuesdays
    • Student Lounge/Multi-functional place
