Monica Adair RN

Monica D. Adair, BSN, RN, is a staff nurse at UK HealthCare in the Cardiovascular Thoracic Unit. Professor Adair joined UK Healthcare in September, 2014. Nursing is a second career for her after graduating with her ADN in 2014 and her BSN in 2016. Currently, she is working on her DNP in Executive Leadership at the University of Kentucky, College of Nursing. Professor Adair believes in the power of shared governance and has served on many Councils within the UKHC Enterprise. She is currently the chair of the Enterprise Nursing Professional Practice Council which contributes to policies, procedures, and practice protocols that are utilized across the organization by nurses. Professor Adair is also a board member on UK's Women’s Forum founded in 1991, an organization that dedicates time and talent to making the University a better place for women to work by recognizing and celebrating outstanding women and addressing women's issues across campus.
