Danica Amos DNP, RN, FNP-C
Danica Amos graduated from the University of Kentucky with her BSN in December of 2013 and began working at Baptist Health Lexington. She has been an RN on a medical-surgical/telemetry unit that also cares for pediatric patients. As a nurse she focuses on providing compassionate care to her patients and has received several Daisy nominations. She returned to the University of Kentucky in 2016 to obtain her DNP. During her time as a graduate student she was also a teaching assistant in the undergraduate skills lab. Danica graduated from the DNP family practice program in May 2019. Her research focus was depression in primary care. She is excited about once again joining the UK College of Nursing in the spring semester of 2020.
