Jennifer Dent DNP, MSN, RN, CHSE
Lecturer and Director of Clinical Simulation and Learning Center
Jennifer Dent received her ADN from Midway College in 1999 and her BSN from the University of Kentucky in 2003. She worked in the acute care setting areas of medical surgical, operating room and obstetrics. In 2010 she began teaching in the Kentucky Community College setting and developed an interest in simulation for nursing education. She obtained her MSN from Eastern Kentucky University with a focus on rural public health nursing education in 2011. She started her work at the UK College of Nursing as the simulation specialist helping to increase simulation in the undergraduate curriculum. She is now the Director of the Clinical Simulation and Learning Center, coordinator of the Skills Lab Intern enrichment opportunity and coordinator of First Aid Friday study hall for undergraduate nursing students.
