Karen Hill graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Kentucky. She received both her Master of Science degree in nursing and Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Kentucky. She is a Fellow, American College of Healthcare Executives and a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Karen has an Advanced Nursing Administration Certification, an Operating Room Certification, and a Lean System Certification (from the University of Kentucky, College of Engineering). She is a member of the MHA Board of Advisors, University of Kentucky, College of Public Health, a member of the Chief Nurse Executive Advisory Board, Press-Ganey, and Secretary of the Baptist Physicians’ Lexington Ambulatory Surgery Center Board of Directors. Karen is the Chief Operating Officer/Chief Nursing Officer for Baptist Health Lexington. Prior to joining Baptist Health, she was the Editor-in-Chief of The Journal of Nursing Administration.
