Krystle Maynard DNP, MSN, RN
Instructor

Krystle Maynard received her BSN Eastern Kentucky University in 2011.  In 2015 she completed her Master's of Science in Nursing at Walden University. Since joining the CSLC team in 2019, she has been pushed outside of a specific teaching mindset and has learned to develop a teaching method based upon the development of critical thinking of the students. This thought process not only allows the students to grow and learn, but her as well. Simulation is a fascinating educational adjunct tool that fosters a level of growth and learning that can only enhance the student’s education, while promoting a safe environment. Simulation- based education has proven to be a vital piece of the educational components of a well-rounded nursing education. Mrs. Maynard recently completed her DNP at Northern Kentucky University where her scholarly practice focused on workload acuity and nursing job satisfaction. She has attended multiple professional development programs with a focus on Simulation and has also been a part of the clinical faculty for our health promotion course since 2019.
