Tanna McKinney MSN, RN-BC
Tanna McKinney currently serves as Clinical Nurse Leader and Director of Infection Control at Eastern State Hospital. She has worked at Eastern State as a Mental Health Associate, Clinical RN, Nurse Manager and now Clinical Nurse Leader. She has a BA in Psychology from the University of Kentucky, a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Eastern Kentucky University and a MSN in Nursing Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. Tanna is currently certified by the ANCC in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing, a facilitator for the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, “Competency Based Training for Suicide Prevention: PMH Nurse Generalist” program and a certified instructor for “CPI: Non-Violent Crisis Intervention”. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology. Tanna is a clinical instructor for the Undergraduate Psychiatric/Mental Health nursing course, NUR 401.
