Megan Walden MSN, RN

Megan Walden received a BA in Sociology from the University of Kentucky in 2002, an ADN from Eastern Kentucky University in 2009, a BSN from Eastern Kentucky University in 2011, and a Master’s in Nursing Administration from Eastern Kentucky University in 2020. She has a combined 10 years of experience in behavioral health, public health, and critical care, with a focus in LGBTQ* health, behavioral health, and cardiology at UK HealthCare. Megan’s certifications include the Medical Surgical Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Megan serves on the Enterprise Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council at UK as well as acting at the UK liaison for Eastern State Hospital’s Healthcare Inclusivity Committee. Currently, Megan is the Staff Development Specialist for the Behavioral Health service line at UK HealthCare and the Health Educator for Transform Health, a part-time LGBTQ* clinic at UK HealthCare Family and Community Medicine.
