Adult Gerontology Acute Care

The adult geronotology acute care nurse practitioner (AG-ACNP) is educated and prepared to provide care to acutely and critically ill adult patients regardless of setting. While many AG-ACNPs work in a hospital setting, they are also based in special practices in acute care settings.

With the expanding hospital role of advanced practice nursing, AG-ACNPs are also uniquely positioned to provide collaborative hospital care for patients of primary care providers. Each of our AG-ACNP faculty members has practice roles.
