Giving
The lives of older Kentuckians have been enriched for more than 50 years by our lifelong learning programs, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute and the Donovan Fellows Program. Our members have given generously for many years to ensure that these programs will grow and serve new generations of learners. Our members invest in the future of lifelong learning in ways that best express their own beliefs and values.
There are two primary ways to give to lifelong learning at UK: Outright Gifts and Planned Gifts
Outright Gifts include cash, securities (stocks, bonds and mutual funds), real estate and tangible personal property. An outright gift of cash is usually the simplest method of giving, and you can deduct the gift to the full extent of IRS rulings. You can make a gift during our annual phonathon and direct mail campaigns, or you can add a gift to your registration each semester. If you would like to give now with a credit card, you can do so by going to http://bit.ly/supportolliatuk.
Planned Gifts can be made through many vehicles, including your will, revocable or irrevocable trusts, charitable gift annuities, donor advised funds and other arrangements that offer benefits for both you and lifelong learning. Many Planned Gifts offer tax advantages for you and/or your heirs. Click here for additional planned giving information, tools and calculators.
