Clarissa Thomas received her M.S. in Higher Education from the University of Kentucky and her B.A. in English from the University of Louisville. Prior to joining the Patterson School in 2019, she worked in higher education as an academic advisor at the University of Louisville and a Graduate Assistant with the Graduate School Office of Admissions and Recruitment at the University of Kentucky. She has previously taught English and history at the middle school and high school levels. Although she enjoyed classroom teaching, Clarissa’s true passion is working with students on a college campus. That desire to help students at the college level brought her to the Patterson School where she serves as our Student Affairs Officer. Clarissa looks forward to working with students, from admission to graduation and beyond.
