Spring Crisis Simulation
In a tradition that goes back almost twenty years, on February 19-20 Patterson School students participated in the annual Spring Crisis Simulation. This year the simulation involved a crisis in the Sahel which metastasized into a conflict between France and Turkey and resulted in the death of a head of state. Patterson students played all manner of roles on six different teams, conducting diplomacy, espionage, development work, and strategic decision-making. For the 12th year the University of Kentucky School of Journalism joined the simulation as a participant, and for the first time ever cadets of the UK ROTC corps joined in as well.
