Exercise Referral Program

The Department of Campus Recreation is excited to offer the Exercise Referral Program (ERP)!  ERP offers FREE education and personalized training for UK students who would benefit from taking part in regular exercise.

Students enrolled in the ERP program work with a Certified Personal Trainer with the goal of learning how to incorporate physical activity and exercise into their daily lifestyle.  By the end of the ERP program, the goal is for each participant to meet ACSM/CDC/ US Department of Health recommendations for weekly Physical Activity for Adults.  ACSM Physical Activity Guidelines include:

  • Conduct at least moderately intense muscle strengthening activities that include all major muscle groups, two or more days a week.
