These 4 resources and strategies can help you combat stress: 

UHS Nutrition Counseling

  • Meet with a Registered Dietitian (RD) or nutrition coach to help you navigate any nutrition concerns or questions you have.
  • Review the Nutrition page which provides additional information regarding their approach and philosophy. 
  • The Registered Dietitian sees students one-on-one for the following: eating disorders, disordered eating concerns, and body dissatisfaction. Known medical conditions (IBS/digestive concerns, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, polysystic ovary syndrome)

The Food Connection at UK

Food Connection supports our land-grant mission through 3 key areas of work:

  • High-impact service and outreach 
  • Grounded research on regional and regenerative farming and food systems

Food Connection works directly with dining partner, UK Dining, to improve our local farm and business impact food procurement for campus dining

Farm to Fork 

Farm-to-Fork is a grant-funded meal program that provides not only free locally sourced lunches using recovered foods and produce but also education and a sense of community to UK students

Emily Tuggle, RD, LD is a Registered Dietitian 

She works with the culinary team to provide special dietary accommodations to students with food allergies/intolerances and holds events throughout the school year to promote overall health and wellness.
