Thank you for your interest in interning with Student Wellness. We have a total of three internships available.
The "Outreach" intern works with our Wellness Outreach Coordinator to assist with the Student Wellness Ambassador program, campus programs, and furthering the connection of well-being resources to students. The preferred candidate for the "Outreach" intern is a student interested in health and well-being.
The "Prevention" intern works collaboratively with the entire Student Wellness Team to help in the design, implementation, and evaluation of a variety of well-being programs and initiatives. The preferred candidate for the "Prevention" intern is a graduate student studying health promotion, public health, or similar field.
The "Intervention and Recovery" intern works closely with our Collegiate Recovery Community Coordinator to help with the promotion of the center, outreach programming, and other projects determined annually by the Coordinator. The preferred candidate for the "Intervention and Recovery" intern is an upper class student in a psychology, public health, social work, or similar field.
