On-Campus Resources

    • The UKCC offers education, confidential consultation, and brief therapy to currently enrolled UK students. Consultation services are also available to UK faculty and staff, and family, friends, and caregivers of students. 

    • University Health Service recognizes the unique stress and pressures a college student faces. Whether you need continued care for an existing psychological condition, additional support or guidance with new or unexpected psychological concerns, or have an acute need for psychiatric care – our behavioral health team can help. Drug and alcohol abuse counseling and ADHD testing are also available. All discussions are confidential.

    • University of Kentucky's Community of Concern was established in 2011 to provide support for students and employees in crisis, or those who have been identified as exhibiting concerning or worrisome behavior. Our office works closely with campus resources to provide early intervention for students who may be struggling personally, or whose behavior has led others to be concerned for their well-being.CoC is also the central hub to address students' immediate basic food and housing needs. Our Case Managers meet with students to provide connection and access to resources, create action plans for success, and monitor student progress.

    • The VIP center provides confidential support for those experiencing bias, identity-based violence, and interpersonal violence. 

    • The DRC provides services to the University community so students with disabilities have an equal opportunity to fully participate in all aspects of University life.
