All incoming degree seeking students are required to attend a "see blue." U Orientation.
Is there a fee associated with my "see blue." U Orientation?
All incoming freshmen have a $125 fee and parents/guests will have a $30 fee. Incoming freshmen are also required to pay a $125 enrollment deposit. All transfer and readmission students will pay a $25 fee. Payment of the orientation fee and enrollment deposit for incoming freshmen is required to complete the registration process. This fee is non-refundable. Transfer and readmission students fees will be added to their tuition bill. Please note that those staying overnight on campus during "see blue." U will be required to pay an additional fee to the Summer Conference Housing Office - that fee is not included in the Orientation fee (see below).
How do I activate my linkblue account?
With your admission letter please visit newstudent.uky.edu. This site will provide you with step-by-step directions.
I am locked out of my linkblue account, how can I reset my password?
Your linkblue account requires that your password be reset every 90 days.
If you need to reset your password, follow these steps:
- On your computer, open a web browser (such as Mozilla Firefox) and navigate to the UK Account Manager (ukam.uky.edu)
- On the Account Manager homepage, please click the "Forgot Password" button
- From the list of account recovery options, please select the option you prefer.
- Follow the steps given to recover your account.
- You will be immediately prompted to set a new password according to the ITS password policy.

Where should I stay during my summer "see blue." U Orientation? (Information for 2018, please check back for 2019 details)
Students and their guests have the opportunity to stay on campus during their summer “see blue.” U Orientation. Although it is not required to stay on campus, students and parents enjoy the experience of staying on campus and the close proximity to the sessions. Those choosing to stay on campus can check-in at Jewell Hall, located on north campus, on the day prior to their “see blue.” U at 4 p.m. and should check-out no later than 2:30 p.m. on day 2. Making reservations prior to arrival is highly encouraged. Walk-ups are welcome. Payment is by credit or debit card only; no cash please. Make your reservations online at sch.uky.edu/see-blue-u.
Overnight Accommodations Reservation Form
Students and guests are charged a $35 fee, per person per night. - THIS FEE IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE ORIENTATION FEE AND IS AN ADDITIONAL FEE PAID TO THE SUMMER CONFERENCE HOUSING OFFICE. This rate includes linens. Complimentary overnight parking is available in the South Limestone Garage (PS #5), located on South Limestone Street. Guests in wheelchairs or those needing special accommodations should contact the Summer Conference Housing Office by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit us online for more information on accommodations.

What should I wear to my "see blue." U Orientation?
Please dress comfortably. We will be inside for sessions but will be walking around outdoors.
