High School Students
Become a START Scholar
The START Program is an opportunity for students like you to learn more about STEM in college and as a career. As a START Scholar you will have the opportunity to interact with faculty at the University of Kentucky, meet with current college students and Peer Educators, and engage with authentic STEM experiences through our START partners.
Previous START Scholars have:
- Virtually toured Space Tango
- Participated in "Ask the Professor"
- Worked with Peer Educators from UK
- Completed Higher Orbits kits
- Engaged in Gross Anatomy labs
- Presented on research
