Cat Chat Live!
The Parent and Family Association is pleased to announce Cat Chat Live!, an interactive resource designed to help you connect with faculty, staff, and students, and to answer some of your questions about UK. To participate in Cat Chat Live!, simply go to the UK Parents Facebook page and watch. If you have questions for the featured guests, post them to the comments section and they will try to answer them in real time. If they are not able to respond immediately, they will be sure to get back to you as soon as they can.

Warning signs of depression and how to help, Tuesday, November 19, 2019 (3 p.m. ET): Join staff members from the UK Counseling Center as they talk about how parents and families can best support their students if they think they see warning signs of depression.
What to do when your student's values change, Tuesday, December 3, 2019 (3 p.m. ET): What do you do when you begin to see signs that your student's values are changing? Staff members from the UK Counseling Center will address concerns that may surface as your student begins to decide who they want to be, and will provide tips on how to best support your student's development.
Big Blue Move-in, Thursday, August 1, 2019 (3 p.m. ET): Learn more about the move-in process from our expert panel, Sarah Nikirk, Executive Director of Auxiliary Services, and Debra Ross, Assistant Director of Auxiliary Services.

Helping your student to manage conflict, Tuesday, September 24, 2019 (3 p.m. ET): Managing conflict with friends and roommates can be difficult for many students, especially during times of transition. Join staff members from the Office of Residence Life and Student Conduct to gain insight into how to best help your student manage conflict with their peers.
