Leah began her career in education as a high school agriculture educator and transitioned to higher education while pursing a Doctoral degree at the University of Kentucky. Leah is committed to providing students with the skills and resources they need to be successful in their academic career and beyond. Leah’s forthcoming dissertation will focus on first-generation students’ experiences navigating graduate school.
Leah is originally from White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia where she grew up on a small family farm. Leah enjoys spending her spare time with her family and dogs, cooking and baking, coloring, and reading.
