Nicki Jenkins

Bachelor of Science in Sociology, concentration in family development, Appalachian State University

Nicki oversees all the day-to-day functions of the UK Parent and Family Association; manages and coordinates UK Parent and Family Association events and programs; supports the UK Parent Advisory Council; hires, trains, and supervises student leaders, including Event Coordinators and Parent and Family Ambassadors; and coordinates all technology, website communication, and social media for the office.

Nicki is a member of the Association of Higher Education Parent/Family Program Professionals (AHEPPP); she has served as the Awards Chair/Co-Chair of the 2017 and 2018 AHEPPP National Conference Committees.

In addition to her work with parents and families, Nicki is an instructor for UK 101, a facilitator for Coach alcohol workshops, and an advisor to the UK Sandy Hook Promise student organization.

Nicki calls Lafayette, LA her home, and on most home game days, Nicki can be found either at Kroger Field or Rupp Arena cheering on the Cats! “This is a very special place, and even though I did not graduate from UK, I am proud to be a Wildcat!”
