Robert Hayes

University Director of Student Transitions and Family Programs

Robert serves as chief advisor to the Assistant Provost for Student and Academic Support in recommending new university-wide initiatives regarding first-year programs and services, specifically in regards to those housed in Student Transitions and Family Programs. He has oversight of Student Transitions and Family Programs, providing leadership in establishing and maintaining a team-centric unit, and mentoring staff and students.

In addition to his work with Student Transitions and Family Programs, Robert serves on a number of campus committees, including the Student Success Group, Stage III Grievance Hearing Committee, and Advising Leadership Team. Robert is a facilitator of academic business for former Undergraduate Studies student, and serves on an external First-Generation Programs Working Group. Robert is also a member of NACADA and NASPA.

Robert considers Richmond, KY home. In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors, hiking, family, participating in sports, and creating in his garage.
