Dr. Molly Reynolds

Executive Director of Transformative Learning

Molly A. Reynolds is the Executive Director of Transformative Learning.  Before serving as the Executive Director, Molly served as the Director of Presentation U, Faculty Fellows & Student Tutoring coordinator, and a Faculty lecturer in the Division of Instructional Communication and Research. In addition to her duties as the Director of Transformative Learning, Molly teaches part-time in Department of Communication.  Molly completed her Ph. D in 2013 and has focused her teaching and research on interpersonal and instructional communication.

Loretta Stafford

Program Coordinator for Transformative Learning

Loretta Stafford is the Program Coordinator for Transformative Learning. In her role, she coordinates marketing and outreach activities, as well as serving as a business office liaison. Loretta previously worked with Transformative Learning as an undergraduate marketing intern and Student Program Coordinator, but also has experience in public relations. She received a B.A. in Integrated Strategic Communication from the University of Kentucky and is currently working towards an M.A. in communication from UK's College of Communication and Information.

 


Christie Maier

Associate Director for Transformative Learning

Christie Maier currently serves as the Associate Director for Transformative Learning and Director of The Study’s Peer Tutoring Program.  Christie joined the team in January 2015, starting as the Program Coordinator, and brought with her extensive experience in peer leadership and a passion of student success.  Christie holds a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University and a M.Ed. in Student Affairs and Higher Education from the University of South Carolina.

LeRon Collier

Program Coordinator for The Study

LeRon comes to Transformative Learning with a background in both Residence Life and Academic Affairs from Georgetown College, Eastern Kentucky University, and Miami University (OH). He has a B.A. in Elementary Education and a M.A. in Student Personnel Services in Higher Education. LeRon is an advocate for student development and student leadership. He also has extensive experience supporting students and promoting growth.

 

Julie Bradley

Assistant Director of Integrated Success Coaching

Julie Bradley is the Assistant Director of Coaching in the division of Transformative Learning.  Julie comes to Transformative Learning from Kentucky State University, where she served as the Kenan Charitable Trust Director of Student Support Services.  There she helped develop 3:1 Systems of Support (Academic, Social-Emotional, and Access-to-Opportunity) for students in the preschool through college pipeline.  In addition, she has many years teaching experience of students of all ages in a variety of settings, and most recently taught developmental reading and writing at Bluegrass Community and Technical College.  Julie received her B.S. in Special Education from Ohio University and her M.A. in Special Education from the Ohio State University.


Benjamin Dunn

Integrated Success Coach

Benjamin Dunn joined Transformative Learning in 2020. As an Integrated Success Coach, he co-collaborates with students to build the best version of themselves. In addition to serving as an Integrated Success Coach, he teaches UK 101 and is a member of the OVPSS Assessment Committee. He holds a M.A. in Student Personnel Services in Higher Education.

 

Melinda Humbert

Integrated Success Coach

Melinda Humbert joined Transformative Learning in 2020 as an Integrated Success Coach. In her role, she listens to and connects with students in partnering to build their dreams into life. She has received a B.S. in Human Development, an M.A. in Counseling, and a Postgraduate certificate in School Counseling.


Jennifer Malone

Integrated Success Coach

Jennifer Malone joined the Transformative Learning team in 2021. As an Integrated Success Coach, Jennifer assists students with academic and life skills and serves as a guide throughout their college career. Jennifer received an M.A. in Social Work and a certification in Holistic Health and Wellness from Western Michigan University.

 


Trevor Tierney

Integrated Success Coach

Trevor Tierney joined the Transformative Learning team as an Integrated Success Coach in 2021 after serving as an Academic Coaching TA since 2019. As an Integrated Success Coach, he partners with students to help them develop the skills they need to be successful at UK and beyond. He holds a B.S. in psychology, M.S in Sport Psychology, and an M.S. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Kentucky.

 


 

Dr. Rachael Deel

Director of Academic Preparation and Placement

Dr. Rachael Deel is the Director of Academic Preparation and Placement. Prior to her role in the APP program, she served as the Assistant Director for Presentation U and Marketing Director for Transformative Learning. In her role as Director of APP, she supports students who have not yet demonstrated readiness in curriculum areas defined by the Council on Postsecondary Education. Dr. Deel currently serves on the Student Success Development and Appreciation Committee and the Council on Postsecondary Education's Readiness Committee.

Math Academic Preparation and Placement Coordinator

Dr. Bailey Ubellacker is the Math Academic Preparation and Placement Coordinator within Transformative Learning, and also serves as an Integrated Success Coach. She joined Transformative Learning in 2015 as a math academic preparation course instructor. Dr. Ubellacker has teaching experience in global settings, including Spain, Costa Rica, and New Zealand as well as school levels, including elementary education. She received her B.A. in Elementary Education, B.A. in Spanish, M.Ed in Educational Leadership, and Ph.D in Educational Sciences.
