Student Residential Parking
Permit Year: 2018-2019
Transportation Services offers a limited number of residential student parking areas within reasonable proximity to campus housing areas. Residential permits provide on-campus student residents with the highest level of convenience and predictability at a higher price point than other student options. Transportation Services manages the number of permits issued for designated residential parking areas to ensure that permit holders will be able to find parking within their assigned lot, garage or area.
Residential parking is ideal for students who regularly rely on their automobile for professional, personal or academic obligations, or who desire more convenient access to their vehicle.
Residential permits are restricted to students with a confirmed on-campus housing assignment. Access to specific student residential parking areas may be further restricted based upon housing assignment (see parking locations below).
Returning students with a confirmed housing assignment have priority of purchase during a designated pre-sale window (see application process and calendar below).
2018-2019 Monthly Price: $56
2018-2019 Annual Price (based on 8 months): $448
Most student residential parking areas are designated within the core pricing tier as a result of the convenience, desirability and reserved nature of these spaces. Information regarding Greg Page, Shawneetown and Commonwealth Village parking may be found under student remote parking information.
Student residential permits are only available to purchase for the entire academic year and are valid from August 6, 2018 through May 3, 2019.
Students who no longer need or desire residential parking during any portion of the year, may choose to return their permit and will be given a pro rata refund of any unused portion when the permit is returned to Transportation Services.
