Career Fairs to Impact Parking, Traffic on North Campus
Two HireBlue Career Fairs are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday next week in the Gatton Student Center. These fairs are expected to draw large crowds and will impact parking and traffic on north campus.
In both cases, the student center visitor lot will be reserved for fair attendees from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Any overflow will be directed to park in Cornerstone Garage.
Career fairs include:
- Engineering and Computer Science, on Tuesday, September 19. This fair is expected to be the larger of the two and could attract up to 175 attendees.
- Business, Communications, Liberal Arts, All Majors, on Wednesday, September 20. Approximately 110 people are expected to attend.
Impacted employee (E) permit holders can consider other north campus parking areas, in addition to Cornerstone Garage, including:
- Memorial Coliseum Lot
- King Alumni Lots North & South, located off Linden Walk
- Schmidt Lot, with an entrance off Rose Lane
- Linden Walk Lot
- Scott Street area lots
