UK Women's Basketball Game/Education Day to Impact Parking

By lasu224 · December 2, 2019

The University of Kentucky women’s basketball team will hold its Winning Tools Education Day and face the Charlotte 49ers on Wednesday, Dec. 4, in Memorial Coliseum. Tip-off for the game begins at noon. Students in area primary and secondary schools are expected to attend, which will impact parking on north campus.

To accommodate fans and school buses, the Linden Walk Lot (E-Intermediate) will be reserved from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday. In addition, gates at the South Limestone Garage (PS #5) will be open to the public beginning at 9 a.m.

Affected employees should consider other parking alternatives, including the Sturgill and Schmidt lots, with entrances off Rose Lane, the Career Center Lot and the King Alumni North and South lots, with entrances off Linden Walk. Employees who arrive on campus after 9 a.m. and typically park in the South Limestone Garage can also consider the Scott Street area lots.
