Alumni Drive Roadwork Slated for This Week
A portion of Alumni Drive will be resurfaced by Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government this week, as part of ongoing roadway improvement efforts. The milling and paving will take place between Tates Creek Road and the stone University of Kentucky signs on Alumni Drive.
The resurfacing began earlier today, and will take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Through traffic will be maintained at all times. Flagmen will be present to help direct vehicular traffic while work is taking place.
Members of the university community should allow extra time when traveling this section of campus.
The work is expected to be completed by Friday, Oct. 6.
Members of the campus community are encouraged to tune into 1700 AM (WQKH 253) to hear campus parking and transportation information. The station broadcasts 24 hours, 7 days a week.
