Women’s Basketball Game to Impact Campus Tomorrow

On Wednesday, Nov. 22, the UK women’s basketball team will host Morehead State University at 2 p.m. in Memorial Coliseum. As a result, employees who park in the South Limestone Garage (PS #5), the Coliseum Lot and other north campus lots may experience an increase in visitor parking and should plan ahead. However, due to the game time and the decreased campus parking demand associated with classes being out of session for Thanksgiving Break, the impact on morning arrivals is expected to be minimal.

UK women’s basketball fans will be directed to park in the South Limestone Garage (PS #5), located on South Limestone next to Kennedy’s Wildcat Den.

To accommodate game day operations, 30 spaces will be reserved in the Coliseum Lot. Additionally, the Linden Walk Lot will be unavailable to general parking starting at noon. Vehicles already parked in the lot will not be required to relocate.

Employees who typically park in the South Limestone Garage are asked to consider parking in the E/C9 parking areas located on Scott Street, including the Reynolds, Comers, Scott Street or Taylor/Dickey Lots, in order to facilitate basketball fan parking. Visit www.uky.edu/transportation/parking-info_parking-maps to view all campus parking options.

Members of the campus community are encouraged to tune into 1700 AM (WQKH 253) to hear campus parking and transportation information. The station broadcasts 24 hours, 7 days a week.
