Senate Meeting Dates

University Senate meetings begin at 3 pm unless indicated otherwise on a specific University Senate agenda. Meetings are about two hours long and they are conducted via the modality described within the meeting agenda.

University Senate meeting dates for 2022-2023:

• September 12, 2022
• October 10, 2022
• November 14, 2022
• December 12, 2022
• January 23, 2023
• February 13, 2023
• March 20, 2023
• April 10, 2023
• May 1, 2023 (meeting may begin at 2 pm)

Generally speaking, the University Senate meets on the second Monday of the month during the academic year, but the Senate does not often meet during August or January, nor does it meet during spring break. If UK's spring break begins on the second Monday of the month, Senate will typically meet the following Monday (third Monday of March). The Senate is usually scheduled to meet on the FIRST Monday in May instead of the second Monday, but this date may be adjusted forward or backward to accommodate the meeting schedule of the Board of Trustees.
