Develop a business plan for your E-commerce initiative. Describe its objectives, costs and benefits, as well as development strategies.  Include other specifics of your initiative such as target audience, competitors, industry information and competitive strategies.  Any initiative is fine.  Ideal place to look is at your work – this could be a great opportunity for you to enhance your grade and make your boss happy (maybe you will get promoted !!).  (4 points)

Design static web pages for your E-commerce initiative.  (3 points)

Enhance your static web pages with user interactivity and dynamic data access.  (3 points)

Demonstrate your E-commerce systems to the class (about 20 minutes).  (10 points)

Prepare a report to document your entire system development effort, i.e., from initiation to implementation.  Include also specific B2C strategies that are employed by your site.  The report should be about 10-15 pages (typed, double-spaced, including figures, tables, etc.).  Turn in a printed copy of the report and an electronic copy of the completed system.  (10 points)

 

Note:  Your individual score will be adjusted based on the evaluation of your group members.
