What in the FS. looks like part of a letter before ne is owing to a small hole in the MS., but there is really before the n, just above the þ of gesiþas, a stroke left, which, however, is covered as well as another stroke under the line above the first s of gesiþas; the upper part of n in ne is also covered || the parchment is torn between ge and wunigen || wil AB; now part of w, almost the whole of i, and what little there is left of the lower part of l covered.
