borderlands
Leslie Salzinger proposes a 3-fold optic for looking at gender relations in
Mexican Maquiladoras:

work on assembly lines,
Spatial layout: women on line, men on floor and in
balcony
'if you got it, flaunt it': women and sexuality in
the workplace
