Smooth Crabgrass : Kentucky IPM

Smooth Crabgrass (Digitaria ischaemum)

Smooth crabgrass is a warm-season annual grass. The leaves of smooth crabgrass are coarse-textured and yellowish-green. It is generally distinguished from large crabgrass by its smaller size, smoother leaves, and failure to root at the nodes. Smooth crabgrass is common throughout Kentucky and is often a problem in lawns.Smooth crabgrass
